Working In Today’s NHS ... Can We Help?

Bishop Kieran Conry invited Health Care Workers & Chaplains to this meeting at St Dunstan's Church. Thirty people attended - nurses, lay chaplains, priests and deacons. Bishop Kieran set the scene and opened the session with prayer.

After lively small group discussion, it was agreed that such a meeting was both helpful and supportive, and that other similar meetings should be arranged in different areas of the Diocese.

These Regional / Area meetings should be held three times a year in  Woking for Surrey, Eastbourne or Brighton for East Susex, and Chichester for West Sussex.

The meeting closed with a liturgy celebrated in St Dunstan's Church focussed on the gospel of the Good Samaritan followed by a shared lunch.
